Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in construction, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, commercial building systems, and ADA compliance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can work independently, manage multiple tasks, and ensure that properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance, repairs, and improvements across multiple residential rentals and commercial properties.
- Perform renovations to residential properties to include kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, drywall, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and costly repairs.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and ADA regulations.
- Prepare properties after tenant move-in/move-outs.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed.
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a contractor, maintenance technician, construction worker, or in a related skilled trade.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general construction.
- Familiarity with ADA compliance and commercial property maintenance preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (travel required within counties served).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
