Avax Logistics Inc. is seeking an experienced Mobile Diesel Mechanic to perform repairs on trucks and trailers at our yard and roadside locations. Company mobile service truck provided.
Responsibilities
* Light truck and trailer repairs
* Trailer patches, doors, hinges, latches, and hardware
* Tire changes and replacements
* Computer diagnostics for engine, ABS, emissions, and electrical issues
* DOT inspections and repairs, including lights, brakes, mud flaps, and safety equipment
* Keep equipment DOT-compliant and road-ready
Requirements
* Diesel and/or trailer mechanic experience
* Knowledge of DOT regulations and inspections
* Experience with diagnostic software and scan tools
* Ability to work independently
* Valid driver’s license
* Welding experience is a plus
Competitive pay based on experience. Steady, long-term work available.
Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour
