Overview
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Part-Time Maintenance Person to join our team at Sea Dip Beach Resort a beachfront condominium in beautiful Daytona Beach, FL. This role involves general maintenance duties, minor repairs, and helping maintain the cleanliness and functionality of common areas to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for our residents and guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks (e.g., painting, plumbing, light electrical)
- Inspect and maintain common areas including hallways, elevators, pool area, and exterior grounds
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and property management
- Assist with seasonal maintenance tasks such as pressure washing or storm prep
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained
- Work closely with the property manager to prioritize and complete tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or building upkeep preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Must pass a background check
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
