Position Summary
This individual oversees the execution of adult strength and conditioning programs, facilitates day-to-day facility management, mentors coaching staff, and guarantees that each member benefits from a premier coaching environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead FORGE (Strength) and IGNITE (Conditioning) adult group training sessions.
- Assist with the development, implementation, and refinement of FORGE and IGNITE programming.
- Deliver expert coaching that emphasizes movement quality, proper technique, appropriate training intensity, and exercise progressions/regressions.
- Create a high-energy, motivating environment that inspires members to perform at their best and enjoy the training experience.
- Build strong relationships with members to improve engagement, accountability, and retention.
- Support daily coaching operations and uphold HUSTL coaching standards.
- Conduct member onboarding, assessments, and goal-setting sessions.
- Mentor coaching staff and provide ongoing feedback to elevate coaching quality and consistency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional training environment.
- Represent HUSTL with professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude.
Qualifications
- Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA, or equivalent).
- Current CPR/AED Certification.
- Previous coaching, personal training, athletic performance, or group fitness experience
- Strong knowledge of strength training, movement mechanics, and exercise progressions.
- Ability to lead groups while providing individualized coaching.
- Preferred:
- 3+ years coaching adult strength and/or HIIT classes
- CSCS, CSCCa, USAW
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field
