Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of CNC lathe and mill machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machining centers, such as milling machines and lathes to produce high-precision parts according to detailed blueprints and technical specifications.
- Read and interpret complex drawings.
- Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with hand tools, tooling setups, and factory machinery in a manufacturing facility environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience setting up and operating CNC lathe and mill machines.
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls.
- Ability to read drawings accurately.
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of tooling setup.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other quality control tools.
- Basic math skills necessary for calculations related to machining tolerances and measurements.
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely within a factory setting is a plus, but not necessary.
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
