Job Summary

Duties
- Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely, including forklifts and power tools, following all safety protocols
- Assist with assembly line tasks, ensuring components are correctly assembled according to technical drawings and production documents
- Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality standards of products during various stages of production
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to support mechanical assembly and process accuracy
- Conduct manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, with proper techniques to maintain safety and efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the manufacturing area, supporting lean manufacturing principles and process improvements
- Manage inventory movement within the warehouse or production area using forklifts or hand tools as needed
- Follow manufacturing management procedures to document production activities accurately and ensure compliance with safety standards
Skills
- Proven experience operating forklifts, power tools, and hand tools within a factory or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of factory processes, quality control, and safety standards in production settings
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing documents with precision
- Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes and equipment maintenance
- Experience with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges for quality verification
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management, and manual handling techniques
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and process improvement strategies
- Ability to work effectively on assembly lines while managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong adherence to safety protocols during heavy lifting, equipment operation, and manual handling tasks
- Technical proficiency with manufacturing equipment and troubleshooting mechanical issues as they arise
