Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, craft beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and deliver prompt service with a friendly attitude
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and assist with beverage recipe development to enhance our menu offerings
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about drinks and menu items, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems while practicing responsible cash handling and cashiering procedures
- Support bar management by assisting with setup for banquets or catering events as needed and maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Proven experience in fine dining settings or high-volume hospitality environments with strong serving skills
- Expertise in cocktail creation, beverage recipe development, wine knowledge, and craft beer experience
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations seamlessly during busy hours
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, food handling practices, and basic math for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations
- Experience in bar management or supervising banquet/catering events is a plus
- Knowledge of brewing processes or beer styles enhances the guest experience in our establishment
