Family owned and operated Plumbing, Heating, Electrical and Septic company, located in Kent, WA, which provides services to closely held companies throughout multiple states seeks a self-motivated CPA professional for an Accounting Manager position to manage Finance, and Information Services functions in a casual office environment. The position supports operational management and manages accounting and financial reporting activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all financial transactions including the preparation of the companies’ monthly financial statements
- Directing and supervising accounting/bookkeeping staff
- Preparing budgets and forecasts
- Managing AP and AR functions
- Managing cash management functions
- Managing payroll and HR functions
- Managing general accounting systems and processes to generate and maintain accurate financial reporting
- Developing, overseeing and improving internal processes and information reporting.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with CPA Designation
- 5+ years' experience
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills
- Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work within time constraints
- Must demonstrate expertise in accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
