Join the Game On! coaching team and empower girls for life through the joy of sports! We're looking for passionate, responsible coaches to lead a variety of school-year programs for girls (age ranges 4 to 14), including after-school classes, day-off-school and/or weekend clinics, birthday parties, and special events.
After school classes run anywhere from 3:20-7:00pm. Coaches must be able to arrive on location by 3:00pm for the early classes.
Pay structure is $25-$35/hr. Drive time will be compensated.
$25/hr - within 5 mile radius
$30/hr - within 10 mile radius
$35/hr - 10+ mile radius
The ideal candidate would have experience in multiple sports both as an athlete and a coach as most of our programming involves coaching multiple sports.
Sports we offer for programming include but are not limited to the following:Basketball, softball, soccer, volleyball, flag football, pickleball, tennis, field hockey, lacrosse, martial arts, and dance.
As a Game On! coach, you'll implement our award-winning, active programming that helps children grow strong—in body, mind, and team—while fostering skills in leadership, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
This paid position is ideal for college students, high school juniors and seniors, or any adult with a passion for working with kids and a consistent weekday (after-school) and/or weekend schedule. You'll receive training, lesson plans, equipment, and safety protocols to help you confidently deliver engaging, skill-building sessions in a fun, supportive environment.
Opportunities are available in multiple North Suburban neighborhoods. Locations include Glencoe, Bannockburn, Winnetka, Wilmette, Evanston, Glenview, Vernon Hills, Deerfield and Highland Park and other surrounding areas.
Desired Skills & Expertise:
- Experience coaching or teaching kids in multiple sports
- Strong athletic background (competitive club, high school or college sport experience is a plus)
- Passionate about empowering and fostering kids' growth through sports
- Excellent communication skills, especially with children
- Self-motivated, high-energy, and enthusiastic
- Dynamic team player and responsible role model
