Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating equipment, particularly excavators, and will be responsible for performing various excavation tasks on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment such as mini excavator, skid steer and graders to perform excavation tasks.
- Execute digging and or grading and operations according to project specifications.
- Conduct water, sewer, and electric lines.
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment by performing routine inspections and minor repairs.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other crew members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on-site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in equipment operation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Commitment to safety practices and procedures on construction sites.
