We are currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Property Management team! The individual chosen for this role will have both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience working across multiple entities, preferably in real estate. You will receive and deposit rents from various commercial properties, coding them to the correct property and tenant account. You will also receive and enter bills for payment, coding them to the correct property and category. You will utilize our industry specific cloud based accounting, property management and payment systems. Real estate experience and/or multi-entity bookkeeping experience a must.
Good written and verbal skills, and good customer service skills, are also required to interact with our tenants and vendors.
While AP/AR are the primary functions of this job, candidates with deeper real estate experience or who have assisted with CAM reconciliations or budgeting functions will be given priority.

Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Working in a multi-entity and/or real estate focused environment
- Possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to utilize cloud based property management systems as well as cloud based payment processing software (like AvidXchange).
- Ability to work in collaborative fast-paced environment
- Appropriate professional education or qualification desirable
- Ability to work in our Bethesda office full time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
