Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition following accidents or damage. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong comunicating skills. The Auto Body Technician will work with various tools and equipment to ensure high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform auto body repairs including bodywork, frame machine work, disassembly and assembly of older and newer vehicles
- Conduct welding tasks to repair metal components.
- Use power tools and equipment safely and effectively in the repair process.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively regarding repair processes and timelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an autobody body man or in a similar role.
- Strong experience with vehicle body repair, plastic work disassembly and reassembly
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as frame machines, and welders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training in automotive repair preferred.
