Responsibilities
- Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment
- Perform system repairs and maintenance on existing HVAC equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Troubleshoot electrical diagnostics and mechanical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and specialized testing devices
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including refrigerant lines and condensate drainage
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards
- Communicate clearly with customers about system functionality, maintenance needs, and safety procedures
- Maintain detailed service records, installation logs, and inspection reports for each project
- Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems as needed to support overall building operations
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on HVAC system installation and repair in residential environments
- Service technician experience
- Familiarity with HVAC design principles is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge of boilers, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems and plumbing is essential
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems diagnostics using tools like ohmmeters or multimeters
- Ability to operate hand tools, and other mechanical repair tools safely and effectively
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients

Pay: $33,280.00 - $65,000.00 per year
