Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Restaurant Shift Leader to join our dynamic hospitality team! Duties
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff during shifts, including training new team members and providing ongoing coaching to ensure high performance
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and consistency in every dish served
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Silverware POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and assist with ordering supplies to ensure smooth operations
- Enforce food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures to comply with health regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests
- Assist with scheduling, shift management, and coordinating team efforts to maximize productivity and efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and customer service
- Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within the food industry or hospitality sector
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Silverware system; cash handling experience required
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and food industry regulations
- Ability to lead a team effectively, motivate staff, and foster a collaborative work environment
- Experience in inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food management preferred
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for hospitality management and delivering outstanding guest experiences
