Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with an active Nevada license to join our dynamic healthcare team. - Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine individual care needs.
- Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and other treatments following established protocols and safety standards.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) system POINT CLICK CARE document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with complex procedures including catheterization, tube feeding, wound suturing, and sterile processing while maintaining aseptic technique.
- Provide specialized care for patients with conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, infectious diseases, or those requiring hospice or palliative care.
- Manage emergency situations in various settings including hospital emergency rooms, ICU, or trauma centers by implementing airway management and acute pain control measures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. In-house providers and contracted vendors.
- Conduct patient education on medication administration, disease management (e.g., ICD coding), nutrition, and health coaching to promote recovery and wellness.
- Support triage activities in urgent care or outpatient clinics by prioritizing patient needs based on clinical assessment.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain meticulous medical records for legal documentation and quality assurance. Requirements
- Valid Nevada LPN or RN license with current registration in good standing.
- Proven experience in diverse healthcare environments. Preferred.
- Demonstrated competence in advanced nursing procedures including IV insertion, phlebotomy, medication administration (including injections), and specimen collection/processing.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology principles, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and CPT/ICD coding standards.
- Ability to perform physical examinations and assessments accurately while demonstrating excellent patient care skills.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, behavioral mental health, or developmental challenges; familiarity with dementia or Alzheimer’s care is highly desirable.
- Strong critical thinking skills combined with excellent communication abilities for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are a plus.
