Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Technician to join our dynamic technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of electronic equipment and systems. Responsibilities
- Utilize diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify faults in electronic systems and components.
- Perform electrical diagnostics on complex electronic equipment to determine root causes of malfunctions.
- Conduct field service activities, including on-site repairs and maintenance for diverse electronic devices.
- Use hand tools and soldering equipment to repair or replace faulty components following electrical schematic diagrams.
- Read, interpret, and apply electrical blueprints, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting guides.
- Repair electrical equipment by replacing defective parts, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Test electronic systems using specialized equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters (including ohmmeters), and signal generators.
- Maintain detailed service reports documenting diagnostics, repairs, parts used, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex issues involving electronic systems and circuitry.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues clearly and ensuring client satisfaction during field visits.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or Electronics Technician with a focus on electrical diagnostics and equipment repair.
- Demonstrated proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting documents.
- Hands-on experience with AC/DC electrical systems, electronic equipment testing, and maintenance procedures.
- Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters (including ohmmeters), and other testing instruments.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware integration with electronic systems and basic computer networking principles.
- Expertise in electrical soldering techniques for circuit repair or assembly.
- Familiarity with electronic systems troubleshooting across various industries or applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with effective communication abilities to support customer interactions.
- Ability to work independently in field service environments while adhering to safety protocols.
