The bussing team is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the diner. As a busser, you should think of our Guests as guests in your home and treat them as such. The diner cleanliness should always reflect this vision.

You have:

The ability to constantly move throughout the diner and patio to clean tables, chairs, and floors
-
The capacity to work quietly, quickly, and thoroughly with sanitation being your #1 focus

Observational skills to maintain cleanliness of bathrooms and restock paper goods
-
Honesty and integrity while bussing tables
-
Composure to fill bus tubs “gently” to not disturb nearby Guests or damage dishes
-
Organizational skills to maintain a clean dish area when stacking plates and glassware
You may also have:
-
Experience as a Busser in a fast-paced work environment
-
Working experience communicating with Hosts and Managers via headsets in order to effectively manage the dining room turns

The understanding of when to help Servers pre-bus tables

The observational skills to monitors adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies

A commitment to ensuring that outside of the diner is clean and free of debris
