Job Summary:
The Operations Technician can work in all areas of the plant. They ensure that our products are accurately and efficiently manufactured, meeting our quality standards, they prepare items for shipment, and assist in pulling marketing orders for internal customers.
Essential Functions:

Operates production machinery and inspects finished goods for defects

Receives finished product, stacks and bundles for boxing, builds boxes, and palletizes product

Monitors machines for correct operation, makes adjustments and fixes as needed, and works with Maintenance Technicians on more complex issues

Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all workstations

Maintain a clean and healthy environment and ensure compliance with the company's rules, policies, and procedures

Cooperates with other departments to ensure the finished product is assembled according to quality assurance guidelines and is ready to be stored and inventoried

Retrieve necessary finished goods on pick tickets, placing material in the designated area for shipping

Prepares and packages items for shipment

Maintains accurate records of shipments and deliveries

Operates warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks

Assist team members where needed to ensure that stations have the supplies needed to continue operating without interruption

Assists with monthly inventory counts

May perform other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Skills:
-
1-2 years’ experience in assembly, production, or warehouse environments

Effective communication skills

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Organized, with a strong eye for detail

Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment

Awareness of safety protocols and commitment to fostering a safe work environment

Use of inventory software, including barcode scanners

Ability to learn and utilize manufacturing management systems to document production, scrap, and other metrics/record keeping

High School diploma or equivalent
