American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cardiac Stress Testing RN with prior travel experience required and GA or compact RN licensure.

Work in the Cardiac Stress Testing unit of a hospital setting
-
Adult to geriatric patient population
-
Performs Exercise Stress Tests, Pharmacological Stress Tests (primarily Dobutamine), and Stress Echo procedures
-
Uses Epic and Pyxis systems
-
Day shift schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
-
No weekend shifts required
-
Floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed
-
No on-call requirements
-
Dark blue scrubs required
-
Active GA or Compact RN license required
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
-
Minimum 2 years of experience required
-
Prior travel nursing experience required
-
Experience with medication administration and pharmacologic agents including Dobutamine required

Experience obtaining 12 lead EKG/ECG required

Epic charting experience preferred
-
Perform cardiac stress testing procedures including exercise and pharmacological stress tests as well as stress echocardiograms

Candidates will undergo a clinical screening to determine fit before manager review

Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period, up to two holidays worked
-
Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with all RTO finalized prior to start

No RTO permitted during orientation week

Local candidates accepted at the same rate

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Previous Piedmont employees must be away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before returning as a traveler
