Summary: Assists in maintaining the condition/ appearance of the production and utility areas throughout IMS. Works on routine assignments following established Standard Operational Procedures, and current Good Manufacturing Practices. Works in conjunction with other Maintenance / Technicians under the guidance of the Maintenance Department Head or designee.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Repair, replace and remodel in production area, such as classified cleanrooms, which includes drywall, ceiling T-bar, floor, etc.
- Replace or repair burnt light panel, light switch, and light ballast in production areas.
- Performs other maintenance duties as assigned in production areas.
- Works on assignments that are routine in nature. Receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new assignments.
- Daily interaction with multiple departments to insure that all issues related to the interior appearance of the facility is maintained in a professional manner.
- Required to report major repairs or equipment failures to department management.
- Follows written Standard Operational Procedures for entry into controlled and classified areas.
- Allows to take alternate actions on repairs only with approval of department management.

Education and/or experience:
Requires 2-4 years of related experience in a production facility maintenance position.
Language Skills: English skills required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply or divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form.
