$300 Hiring Bonus – Floor Care Technician / General Cleaner
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Floor Care Technician to join our team. This position involves maintaining and cleaning both carpeted and hard-surface flooring at various customer locations throughout Madison and surrounding communities. A minimum of one year of floor care experience is preferred.
This position primarily schedule is Monday-Friday 5:00pm-1:00am though hours and work locations may vary based on business needs.
Driver’s License Requirement:Driving is an essential function of this position. Applicants must possess a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and maintain an acceptable driving record throughout employment.
Compensation is based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Pay Rate Minimum Hourly $21 Maximum 23.This is a dual-role position that combines.
Project Floor Care and General Cleaning responsibilities.
Floor Care Technicians perform specialized floor maintenance, including carpet care and hard-floor restoration using professional equipment and cleaning products. General Cleaners maintain the cleanliness and appearance of assigned facilities through routine cleaning duties.
The position may require moving furniture and equipment while following all safety procedures. On-call availability may occasionally be required and will be determined by management.

Strip, wax, buff, and scrub floors using industrial equipment.

Shampoo and extract carpets using commercial carpet-cleaning machines.

Perform special cleaning projects, including post-construction, remodeling, and damage restoration cleanups.

Assist with flood cleanup services.

Transport, maintain, and clean equipment; report repair needs to management.

Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when working in designated areas.

Complete projects efficiently while meeting budget expectations.

Dust surfaces, furniture, partitions, and fixtures.

Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of contents properly.

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.

Spot-clean carpets and clean glass surfaces.

Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and floors.

Restock restroom supplies.

Polish metal fixtures and other building surfaces.

Maintain professional and courteous relationships with customers and coworkers.

Set and monitor building alarms when required.

Track and manage assigned keys.

Deliver supplies to customer locations.

Operate compactors and other equipment as needed.

Perform additional duties assigned by management or requested by customers.

Previous floor care experience preferred.

Ability to travel between customer locations as needed.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
