Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Project Managers with a proven track record of managing high-end restaurant and luxury commercial hospitality construction projects for a commercial general contractor. We are currently recruiting to fill 3 full-time Project Manager positions.
This position is responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously from turnover through final closeout, ensuring all deliverables remain on schedule, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality. The Project Manager works closely with project owners, subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and executive leadership.
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Project Management.
Qualifications & Education
Required Qualifications
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience with a commercial General Contractor.
· Domain Expertise: Direct experience managing high-end restaurant and luxury commercial hospitality construction projects.
· Core Competencies: Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and project management.
· Multi-Project Oversight: Proven experience managing 3–5 commercial projects simultaneously.
· Software Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Procore.
· Leadership & Longevity: Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a stable work history. (Candidates with frequent job changes will not be considered).
· Project Portfolio: Ability to provide a comprehensive project list outlining completed projects along with your resume.
Education & Background
· Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent construction management experience will be considered.
· Minimum of 5 years of related commercial construction Project Management experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage 3–5 commercial construction projects simultaneously from turnover through closeout.
· Review project plans, specifications, contracts, budgets, and overall schedules.
· Lead project turnover meetings and coordinate all project startup activities.
· Manage project schedules and continuously monitor overall project progress.
· Coordinate permitting, inspections, and project documentation with local jurisdictions.
· Oversee subcontractor buyout, vendor purchasing, and comprehensive contract administration.
· Review and approve subcontractor invoices and project-related financial expenses.
· Prepare owner billings, monitor project financial performance, and maintain project profitability.
· Review, negotiate, and process subcontractor and owner change orders.
· Conduct routine project site visits to inspect quality, safety, and progress.
· Maintain clear, continuous communication with owners, architects, subcontractors, field staff, and internal teams.
· Manage RFIs, submittals, construction documents, daily field reports, and project issue logs.
· Coordinate project closeout, punch lists, warranties, operations manuals, and final documentation.
· Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably while maintaining exceptional client relationships.
Work Location & Travel Details
· Primary Office Locations: Positions may be based out of either the Broward County office (Deerfield Beach) or the Miami-Dade County office (Miami).
· Mandatory Office Schedule: Employees based in Miami are required to report to the Deerfield Beach office every Monday for team coordination.
· Travel Expectations: Travel is minimal and primarily consists of local project site visits.
· Reimbursement: Mileage is reimbursed at the current IRS rate for business travel exceeding a 20-mile round trip. No separate vehicle allowance is provided.
