Job Overview
The City's Finest, LLC (TCF) is seeking experienced Security Officers (both Armed & Unarmed) to join our team in a Part-Time or Full-Time capacity. We offer a variety of high paying assignments throughout the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County.
Some of these assignments include the use of company vehicles while others are conducted via foot-patrol or static-posts. These positions require strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and tact.
We are currently hiring primarily for evening, overnight and weekend shifts. Shifts are a minimum of 4 hours and up to 8 hours in duration. Multiple shifts can be worked in a single day. All posts have a base pay rate of $20/HR with certain shifts offering incentive pay up to $30/HR.
Primary Duties
- Maintain a visible security presence throughout assigned patrol areas in an effort to deter criminal activity and improve the perception of safety.
- Monitor and respond to customer alarm systems, including weapon detection systems at some of our posts.
- Utilize a variety of company specific digital reporting devices and guard tour systems to document activities during your shift.
- Conduct regular inspections including checking doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure.
- Serve as a welcoming, professional and friendly presence to the residents, customers and general public we deal with on a daily basis. Providing security assistance and guidance to them as needed.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when needed.
Qualifications
- Qualified applicants must posses an active Armed, Unarmed or Watchman license.
- Qualified applicants must have a valid driver's license.
- Qualified applicants must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Qualified applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of security experience.
- Qualified applicants must posses good oral and written communication skills.
- Qualified applicants must posses good conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
