What You'll Do
As a Mental Health Therapist, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day by helping clients build healthier, happier lives.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments
- Develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based therapy (CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, TF-CBT, and other modalities welcomed)
- Help clients develop healthy coping skills and long-term resilience
- Provide crisis intervention when clinically appropriate
- Coordinate care with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, schools, and other providers
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in team consultation and clinical collaboration
- Continue developing your clinical skills through ongoing education and supervision
What We're Looking For
We're searching for therapists who are passionate about helping others and who value being part of an encouraging, collaborative team.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
- Active New Jersey license (LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LAMFT, LMFT)
- Credentialed with major commercial insurance carriers (Horizon, Aetna, United Healthcare, Cigna, etc.)
- Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Ability to work with diverse populations across the lifespan
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Trauma-informed experience is preferred
- Experience with children, adolescents, couples, families, or substance use is a plus
