What you’ll do
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and food items with precision and flair.
- Engage with customers to provide outstanding service, ensuring their needs are met with enthusiasm.
- Operate the Clover POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Handle food preparation tasks while following proper food handling procedures.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork.
Basic qualifications
- Previous barista or coffee experience is preferred but not required; we’re excited to train the right candidate!
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that makes customers feel welcome.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in the food industry or food service is a plus.
- Familiarity with cashiering duties and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
