Overview
We are a growing underground utility contractor specializing in horizontal directional drilling (HDD), fiber optic construction, and utility installation. We are looking for experienced HDD Drill Operators who take pride in quality work, safety, and production.
Duties
- Operate horizontal directional drilling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
- Read utility maps and construction plans.
- Complete bores accurately while maintaining production goals.
- Coordinate with HDD Locator and field crews.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Assist with setup, tear down, and restoration as needed.
- Complete daily production reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of HDD drilling experience preferred.
- Experience installing fiber optic, telecom, power, or utility conduit.
- Ability to read construction drawings and locate utilities.
- Experience operating excavators and other heavy equipment is preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- CDL preferred but not required.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
