Hair Extension Specialist – Full Time. Dakota London is growing, and we’re looking for a driven, professional Hair Extension Specialist to join our Ft. Lauderdale Team at Harbor Shops.

Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their hair extension goals, preferences, and lifestyle needs
- Perform professional hair extension applications
- Maintain strict sanitation and hygiene standards, including proper sterilization of tools
- Provide exceptional customer service by guiding clients through aftercare routines and product recommendations
- Manage appointment scheduling and client communication using salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms
- Upsell retail products related to hair care, extensions, and styling tools to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue
Skills
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on hair extensions, coloring, styling, and barbering techniques
- Strong knowledge of hair care principles, color theory, sanitation practices, and cosmetology standards
- Proficiency in salon software systems like MINDBODY for appointment booking and store management
- Excellent communication skills for client consultation, retail sales, and team collaboration
- Ability to perform specialized services such as eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading is a plus
- Skilled in retail math for upselling products effectively while maintaining a positive client experience
- Familiarity with store management tasks including front desk duties, mentoring new staff, and maintaining a welcoming salon environment.
