Shop & Yard Helper / Painter/ Parts Runner
Seasonal Position (April – December)
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
Location: Grand Rapids, MN
Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Shop & Yard Helper/Painter/Parts Runner for a seasonal position running April through December. This role supports daily shop and yard operations, including parts delivery, facility upkeep, and customer service, in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep inventory of all materials needed for construction operations on a daily basis
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop and yard areas
- Assist with sandblasting and painting of natural gas meter components
- Perform basic vehicle washing, detailing, and related tasks
- Provide friendly and professional service to customers and team members
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license required
- Acceptable driving record:
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 2 years
- No DUI within the past 2 years
- Ability to work a seasonal schedule (April–December)
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Successful completion of a Federal DOT drug test
- Criminal background check covering the past 7 years
- Must meet all company hiring and policy requirements
