Caregiver – Memory Care

This position provides hands-on care and support to residents living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Applicants MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK AM, MID , EVENING SHIFTS, WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility
- Medication administration - we provide paid medication training .
- Support residents with meals, hydration, and special dietary needs
- Observe, document, and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or cognitive condition
- Follow individualized care plans and best practices in dementia care
- Provide reassurance, redirection, and emotional support
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and memory care programs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Follow all safety procedures, infection control standards, and company policies
- Communicate professionally with residents, families, supervisors, and coworkers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Caregiving experience preferred; memory care or dementia experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work with individuals with cognitive impairment in a calm and respectful manner
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
