Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Full Time HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems across various properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment, promote energy efficiency, and uphold safety standards. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units, and ammonia refrigeration equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure efficient operation and longevity.
- Conduct plumbing and appliance repairs as needed to support HVAC system functionality.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair electrical components and mechanical parts.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports for each job performed.
- Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems and other mechanical equipment to ensure safety compliance.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC/R systems with a solid understanding of mechanical systems.
- Construction background or experience working on building systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and troubleshooting techniques for complex systems.
- Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is a plus.
- Knowledge of plumbing, appliance repair, boiler operation, welding techniques, and equipment repair is beneficial.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by field service experience in property maintenance or similar environments. Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
