Responsibilities: - Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, leveling, and texturing surfaces - Use hand and power tools to shape and finish concrete - Apply curing and sealing compounds to protect finished surfaces - Install concrete forms and ensure they are properly aligned - Operate equipment such as power trowels, screeds, and edgers - Follow blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate placement of concrete - Repair and patch existing concrete surfaces as needed - Clean and maintain tools and equipment Qualifications: - Previous experience as a concrete finisher or related role preferred - Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to operate various tools and equipment - Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices - Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications - Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work - Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Commercial driving experience is a plus) - Additional skills such as tile laying, metal stud framing, stucco, or carpentry are a plus - Familiarity with construction estimating is a plus Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
