Responsibilities
- Oversees all nursing operations and clinical staff
- Ensures high-quality resident care and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Supervises, trains, and evaluates nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- Develops and implements nursing policies, procedures, and care plans
- Collaborates with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care
- Monitors infection control, medication management, and resident safety programs
- Maintains accurate clinical documentation and prepares for surveys and audits
- Promotes a positive, compassionate, and professional environment for residents and staff
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Strong knowledge of state and federal nursing home regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage staff, prioritize tasks, and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; advanced degree a plus
Pay: $112,000.00 - $235,000.00 per year
