American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital Operating Room offering a day shift schedule and requiring strong multi-specialty surgical experience.

Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
-
13-week assignment

Weekend rotation of 1 in 3

Rotating holiday coverage

Possible on-call requirements

Uses Epic EMR
-
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the surgical technology specialty

NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
-
BLS certification from AHA or RQI required
-
Strong experience required in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular surgical cases
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Active NYS license required if applicable

No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Support surgical procedures across multiple specialties including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular cases

First-time travelers may be considered for this position

Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius are not eligible, including those in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties
