About the Role:
As a CNA at Evercare of Granite City, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of our licensed nursing staff. Your duties will include:
Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
Assisting with range of motion exercises and other therapeutic activities
Maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents
Fostering a positive and respectful attitude towards our residents and their families
Requirements:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
must be able to pass a tuberculosis (TB) test and drug screen
