Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service through effective communication and friendly phone etiquette
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management
- Assist customers with product questions, conduct product demos, and recommend additional items to enhance their shopping experience
- Manage stocking duties by organizing merchandise, replenishing shelves, and ensuring the store is visually appealing through merchandising efforts
- Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to meet customer needs and increase sales opportunities
- Support inventory management by participating in stock counts, organizing stockroom areas, and ensuring proper product placement
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and cash handling procedures is essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with diverse customers in bilingual settings preferred
- Experience conducting product demos or upselling techniques that enhance customer engagement and sales performance
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising practices, and basic math skills necessary for daily operations
