We are looking for a Veterinary Technician or Assistant for a full time position. We are a family oriented 6 doctor small animal practice, working with cats and dogs. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills, be able to anticipate doctor's needs, able to work with a variety of personalities, and the ability to adapt. Basic veterinary assistant/ technician skills are required for this position. We can train the ideal candidate in the more technical areas of the job.
Job responsibilities will include kennel work, cleaning, restraint, x-rays, venipuncture, lab work, IVC placement, anesthetic induction and monitoring, and dental prophylaxis.
