Responsibilities
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in automobiles, farm machinery, and heavy equipment.
- Perform diesel engine repairs, including troubleshooting and component replacement.
- Fabricate parts as needed to complete repairs or enhance vehicle functionality.
- Repair electrical systems within vehicles, ensuring all components are functioning correctly.
- Provide tire services including installation, rotation, and balancing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
Skills
- Proficient in vehicle maintenance techniques and practices.
- Experience with farm machinery repair is highly desirable.
- Ability to fabricate parts for custom repairs or modifications.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair processes.
- Skilled in equipment repair across various types of machinery.
- Familiarity with electrical systems in vehicles and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Previous experience working in a dealership setting is a plus.
