Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Floater Teacher to join our vibrant educational team! Duties
- Assist in various classrooms by supporting teachers with lesson planning, curriculum development, and instructional activities aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Engage with children through interactive activities that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional development.
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior, implementing behavior management strategies, and maintaining a safe environment for all children.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement individualized plans for children receiving special education or early intervention services.
- Help organize classroom materials, prepare learning resources, and ensure the cleanliness and safety of the learning environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development focused on childhood development, Montessori methods, and inclusive teaching practices.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster a supportive community dedicated to child welfare and development.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings; preschool or daycare experience preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing procedures is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and age groups as needed.
- Background in early childhood education or related fields such as special education or literacy education is highly desirable.
