Three Timbers is a fast-growing plant delivery company serving the Phoenix Valley. We sell desert-ready plants online and deliver them right to the customer's door on our own trucks. We just proved the model, we're scaling up fast, and we're looking for a reliable driver to grow with us.
This starts part-time through July and August, two to three route days a week, then becomes full-time with overtime in September as our busy season ramps up. If you have planting experience, you start full-time right away this summer. The right person is first in line for everything we build next.
EARNING POTENTIAL
- $20 to $24 per hour base, depending on experience
- Full-time with overtime starting in September, and full-time this summer if you have planting experience
- Monthly performance bonuses on top of base for on-time delivery, careful handling, reliability, and customer reviews. Strong performers earn well above their base.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll run a delivery route start to finish. A typical day: pick up our truck and 16-foot trailer, drive to our grower's nursery in north Phoenix, load that day's plant orders (they come pre-tagged by stop, so there's no guesswork), and deliver them across the Phoenix metro on a set route. At each home you'll place the plants where the customer wants them, take a quick completion photo on your phone in our delivery app, and move to the next stop. We've built the system to be simple and repeatable so you can focus on driving safely and taking care of the plants and the customer.
THE HONEST PICTURE
We'll be straight with you. This is a brand-new Arizona operation for a company that's growing fast, and you would be our founding driver on the ground here. That means you'll work mostly on your own. You won't have a manager riding along, but you will have real support: the owner stays in close contact every day by phone and video call, and there's a hands-on training period up front to get you comfortable with the truck, the route, and our system. After training, the summer is mostly solo, self-directed delivery work, right up until the fall, when we add more drivers and planting crews and you help lead them. If you like independence, ownership, and being trusted to run your own day, you'll love this. If you need someone looking over your shoulder, this isn't the right fit.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A valid Arizona driver's license and a clean driving record (we run a motor vehicle record check)
- Real experience towing a trailer, and confidence backing and maneuvering a loaded 16-foot trailer
- Fluent English, friendly and presentable at the door; you are the face of Three Timbers to every customer
- Dependable and on time, with great attention to detail. Plants are living and fragile, and much of this job runs on trust because no one is riding along
- A reliable smartphone you can use for routes and delivery photos
- Comfortable being entrusted with a company card for fuel and supplies
- Physically able to lift and move heavy plants on your own throughout the day, such as large nursery containers. We provide heavy-duty dollies for the biggest trees, but this is real physical work in Arizona summer heat
- Must be at least 21 and able to pass a background check
THIS PUTS YOU AHEAD (AND ON THE FAST TRACK)
- Planting, landscaping, or nursery experience. We're growing toward installation crews, and a driver who can plant is first in line to become a crew lead, training and running a team. If that's you, say so when you apply, and you'll start full-time this summer instead of part-time.
- Box truck or delivery experience
- Any plant or gardening knowledge
WHERE THIS LEADS
We're not just filling a seat. As we add trucks, routes, and planting crews this year, this role grows into a Lead Driver and Crew Lead position with higher pay and a team underneath you. If you're reliable and you can plant, the ceiling here is real.
SCHEDULE
- Daytime routes, Tuesday through Friday to start
- July and August: part-time, two to three days a week, for delivery drivers. If you have planting experience, you start full-time right away.
- September on: full-time for everyone, with overtime available as our busy season ramps up.
