Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Mowing Crew Leader to direct daily field operations and ensure top-quality service for our residential and commercial clients. You will manage a dedicated crew, drive company vehicles, operate commercial equipment, and serve as the main point of contact on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and manage a 2–3 person mowing crew on daily routes.
- Safely operate commercial mowers (zero-turns, stand-ons), weed trimmers, edgers, and blowers.
- Drive truck and utility trailer rigs safely to and from job sites.
- Ensure job sites meet quality standards before departing (clean lines, crisp edging, clear hard surfaces).
- Perform routine daily maintenance checks on equipment and report repair needs promptly.
- Communicate effectively with property owners and management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years leading a commercial mowing crew.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (trailer pulling experience required).
- Skills: Expert knowledge of lawn equipment operation and routine maintenance.
- Physical Ability: Able to work outdoors in summer heat, lift 50+ lbs, and work on your feet all day.
- Leadership: Strong communication, time-management skills, and a positive attitude.
