Family and Children's Services has a long legacy of serving Union County and the surrounding areas. From providing trauma-informed mental health therapy, to hosting community workshops on trauma-related topics, to offering in-home life skills guidance, Family and Children's Services has been coaching, supporting and encouraging vulnerable individuals and families since 1893.
The person in this role will provide culturally competent individual and family therapy across the lifespan. Service delivery is via a trauma-informed approach within a treatment team framework, from intake through completion of service.
Primary Responsibilities

Meet with supervisor in accordance with program and licensing requirements

Partner with clients to develop a trauma-informed treatment approach that addresses clinical and concrete needs.

Complete client/family-centered treatment plans and progress notes, assessments

Work with team to implement interventions through a trauma informed lens

Utilize evidence-based or evidence-informed treatment strategies with the goal of increasing knowledge and skills
Qualifications and Skills

Masters-level Clinician (LCSW, LSW, LPC, LAC, LMFT, MFT)

Experience providing therapy services to children/adolescents/adults/families

Knowledge of state confidentiality laws and child abuse reporting laws

Bilingual (Spanish-English) preferred

Good communication skills, both verbal and written

Working knowledge of electronic health record system

Experience with evidenced-based treatments preferred

Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively

Some evening and Saturday hours may be required
