Large Catholic High School in Ft. Lauderdale, FL is seeking qualified candidates for the 2026-2027 school year with a minimum Bachelor's degree in History or a similar Social Sciences field. A Master's degree is preferred. Candidates should be certified by Florida Dept of Education (grades 9-12) or be in the process of acquiring certification in their subject. A minimum of two years' teaching experience for all high school grade levels is desired. Candidate must be a self-starter and have experience in digital book, interactive classroom technology & digital gradebooks. Excellent oral and written English language communication skills, including clear speaking voice. Must have excellent classroom management and professional demeanor. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program for high school Social Science, particularly World History Honors. The High School History Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary scale is determined by Level of Education, Years of Teaching Experience and Professional Certification.
