We are looking for a skilled Die Cutter Operator to join our growing team!
Job Responsibilities
- Set-up and operation of the Bobst die cutter for both finished product and product to be further processed.
- Performs preventive and routine maintenance on all essential equipment.
- Loads press as necessary.
- Responsible for making the required quality assurance pulls and corrects all defects as needed.
- Files die, job corrugates and job tickets upon the completion of a job.
- Makes all required job information entries on job jacket.
- Maintains a clean and safe workspace.
- Assists in other work areas as needed and directed.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet quotas and deadlines.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times, and push/pull 2,000 pounds with a pallet jack.
Essential Qualifications
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
- Must be available to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least one year of related experience required.
- General understanding of mechanics and tools required.
- Strong math skills.
Working Conditions
- Work will be performed in our manufacturing warehouse which requires mobility within the production work area.
- Exposure to constant and intermittent sounds of machinery in a production environment.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Compensation
- Compensation for this position will be based on the knowledge and experience of each candidate.
