Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Recovery Room
Location: Knoxville, TN
Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Many days begin at 7:00 AM and finish as early as 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, depending on patient volume. Some days may extend to approximately 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM.

Position Overview:
The RN will care for patients in the recovery area of a busy outpatient surgery center. Patients typically recover for approximately 20-25 minutes following procedures, creating a dynamic environment with steady patient flow and a strong focus on patient safety, education, and discharge readiness.
Responsibilities:
· Monitor patients during the post-procedure recovery process
· Assess patient condition and identify changes requiring intervention
· Provide discharge education and instructions to patients and families
· Administer medications and perform nursing interventions as appropriate
· Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
· Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient outcomes
· Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the recovery process
· Follow all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
· Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license
· BLS certification
· Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
· Excellent patient care and customer service skills
· New graduates are encouraged to apply
· Previous PACU, recovery room, surgery center, GI, outpatient, hospital, medical-surgical, or acute care experience is a plus
