Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Mobile x-rays and ultrasounds is a plus as a Limited Medical Radiological Technologist or Full RT, where your expertise will directly impact patient care through advanced medical imaging procedures. Duties
- Operate and maintain a wide range of medical imaging equipment including X-ray.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Apply aseptic techniques to prevent infection during invasive procedures and maintain strict adherence to radiation safety standards.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations by capturing high-quality images that meet clinical requirements, ensuring precise visualization of anatomy and physiology.
- Assist in emergency situations by providing urgent care imaging services in trauma or emergency room settings, including Level I Trauma Center environments.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to interpret imaging results accurately and facilitate timely diagnoses.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and equipment calibration records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Experience
- Proven experience working in diagnostic radiology with a focus on medical imaging modalities such as X-ray.
- Prior involvement in urgent care or emergency room settings is highly desirable, especially within Level I or Level II trauma centers.
- Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic evaluation.
- Familiarity with emergency medicine protocols and the ability to perform diagnostic radiology under pressure in high-stakes environments.
- Experience operating advanced imaging technology with attention to detail for optimal image quality and patient safety.
- Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required; additional specialization in nuclear medicine or mammography is a plus.
