We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Ensure all guest rooms and common areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Carry out floor care duties such as stripping, waxing, and polishing as needed.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or supplies.
- Assist in laundry duties as required, ensuring linens are clean and well-presented.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, with a strong understanding of various cleaning techniques and products.
- Familiarity with floor care procedures and equipment.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred, enhancing the ability to meet guest expectations.
- Knowledge of janitorial practices and industrial cleaning methods is a plus.
- Custodial experience that demonstrates attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
