About the Role
As a Mobile Heavy Equipment Technician, you will serve as a vital technical expert responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of specialized utility and construction fleets. You will utilize your advanced diagnostic skills to maintain complex hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems, ensuring that critical machinery remains safe and productive in the field.
Responsibilities-
Execute comprehensive repairs and preventative maintenance on aerial devices, digger derricks, and heavy-duty cranes to maximize equipment uptime.

Perform advanced troubleshooting on diesel engines, complex hydraulic circuits, and integrated electrical systems to resolve performance issues.

Conduct rigorous DOT inspections and dielectric testing to ensure all fleet assets meet strict safety and regulatory compliance standards.

Manage field-based service calls independently, utilizing a fully equipped service vehicle to deliver efficient, high-quality repairs at customer locations.

Document all maintenance activities and parts usage accurately to maintain detailed service histories for all managed equipment.

Collaborate with regional teams to support the maintenance needs of clients within the utility, oil, and gas sectors.
Qualifications-
7+ years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment or medium/heavy-duty truck maintenance.

Advanced proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems.

Strong technical background with construction, utility, or yellow iron equipment.

Valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record.

Proven ability to work autonomously in a field environment with strong organizational skills.

Possession of a CDL Class B license.

Relevant ASE certifications for medium/heavy-duty trucks.

Experience with after-treatment systems including DPF and DEF technologies.

Demonstrated expertise in crane and lifting equipment safety protocols.
