Part-Time Afterschool Teacher
Connect Kids is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Part-Time Afterschool Teacher to join our team! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with elementary-age children and creating a fun, safe, and engaging afterschool environment.
Hours: 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM

Position Responsibilities
The Afterschool Teacher will be responsible for:
- Driving the Connect Kids bus to safely pick up elementary school students from Ten Oaks Elementary.
- Creating and implementing a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate afterschool curriculum and activities.
- Providing a positive, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Ensuring the classroom is clean, organized, and ready for daily activities.
- Maintaining compliance with DSS and ABC regulations and requirements within the classroom.
- Ensuring the safety, supervision, and overall wellbeing of every child in your care.
- Building positive and trusting relationships with children, parents, and Connect Kids staff.
- Communicating effectively with parents and staff regarding children's needs, activities, and experiences.
- Encouraging children to participate in activities that promote learning, creativity, teamwork, and social development.
- Following all Connect Kids policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
