Be the welcoming face of Charleston's newest padel club
We're looking for an energetic, multi-tasking team member who loves people and padel (or tennis!) equally. This hybrid role combines front-of-house hospitality with on-court coaching, perfect for someone who wants variety in their day, enjoys being where the action is, and loves helping people discover their new favorite sport.
About The Point Racket and Social Club
The Point is Charleston's first dedicated padel facility, launching March 2026 at Trophy Lakes on Johns Island. We're pioneering the world's fastest-growing sport in the Lowcountry with a community-first approach that welcomes players of all levels. Here, racket sports spark lasting friendships, and we're building something special from day one.
What You'll Do:
Guest Experience
- Welcome members and guests with genuine hospitality that sets the tone for their experience
- Manage court bookings, check-ins, and daily operations using our Playbypoint system
- Answer questions about padel, memberships, and programming with knowledge and enthusiasm
- Keep our clubhouse organized, welcoming, and running smoothly
On-Court Coaching
- Lead youth clinics and kids' programming that's fun, active, and skill-appropriate
- Step onto court when an adult clinic or group booking needs a fourth player—keeping games fun and full
- Support events, tournaments, and special programming
What We're Looking For:
- Playing experience in padel or tennis—comfortable rallying consistently and explaining fundamental techniques such as grip, positioning, and basic strategy to beginners
- Genuine enthusiasm for working with kids and families
- Strong people skills and warm, approachable personality
- Ability to juggle front desk responsibilities with on-court duties
- Comfortable with technology and booking systems (we'll train you on PlayByPoint)
- Reliable, organized, and flexible with scheduling
- Weekend and evening availability required
Nice to Have:
- Previous coaching or teaching experience
- Customer service or hospitality background
