ACA Computer Integrators is a small, fast-paced IT services company looking to hire 4-5 temporary Field Computer Technicians to assist with a large statewide technology deployment across Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level or early-career technicians looking to gain hands-on field experience while working alongside experienced IT professionals.
You'll be part of a team installing, replacing, and servicing computer systems and related equipment at customer locations throughout Pennsylvania, with most work concentrated in the Philadelphia and Harrisburg areas.
Project Timeline
- Expected to start mid-August
- Anticipated to run through November
- Potential for extension based on project schedule and future opportunities
Position Details
- Temporary full-time and part-time positions available
- Up to 40+ hours per week
- Fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
- Loading, unloading, and installing computer equipment
- Flexible schedule required — work may include early mornings, evenings, weekends (Saturday & Sunday), and occasional overnight travel
- Starting pay $20+/hour, with higher pay based on experience
- Mileage reimbursement or gas allowance provided
- Company-rented vehicles may be provided depending on the assignment
- Overtime opportunities may be available depending on project schedule
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing and replacing desktop computers and related hardware
- Testing equipment and verifying proper operation
- Assisting with equipment staging and deployment
- Traveling to customer locations throughout Pennsylvania
- Working alongside experienced field technicians
- Providing professional customer service while on site
Who We're Looking For
- Entry-level technicians, recent graduates, or candidates with basic computer hardware experience
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience is preferred, but not required
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Technicians located in or near Philadelphia, Harrisburg, Lancaster, Reading, York, or surrounding areas are encouraged to apply
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required due to customer contractual and security requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle (unless assigned a company vehicle)
- Ability to lift 20-30 pounds unassisted
- Smartphone with a data plan
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and possible security clearance
